NYU is situated in the heart of the West Village, one of New York’s most historic and picturesque neighborhoods. From Stonewall to Christopher Street, the West Village served as an important site in both local and national LGBTQ+ civil rights movements. Join the NYU LGBTQ+ Center, NYU Grad Life, and Christopher Street Tours to visit historic sites where revolutions began, riots were sparked, and history was made.
